Clean and Green Pakistan
The environment in which we live greatly affects our health. Household, workplace, outdoor and transportation environments all pose risks to health in a number of ways from the poor quality of air that many people breathe, coupled to hazards related to unsafe water, poor sanitation and hygiene.
Pakistan is facing big challenges of environmental pollution, Climate change, land degradation, water, and air pollution. Freshwater/Industrial pollution is mostly unchecked and may get worse unless economic activity is underpinned with sustainable development.
According to the Global Environmental Performance Index, Pakistan is listed as a country in need of immediate action to address this environmental and climate stress. BRIC Pakistan is working actively for environmental interventions to contribute to Pakistan Vision 2025.
