Playgroup Centers

First few years of a kid’s life are said to be formative which set the tone for the rest of his life. We at BRIC Pakistan believe that in order for a kid to succeed in life he should have a nourishing childhood. A rich start to his life. Putting this belief into action we have set up playgroup centers in colonies around the country. These centers enroll 3-5 year olds. They are taught basic kindergarten learning in a fun informative way. All sorts of school supplies i.e. stationary, reading material is provided to the kids free of cost.
A decent, early education helps a kid get a head start in life.

The activities in BRIC’s playgroups are planned in such a way that they boost creativity and develop an inquisitive attitude towards life. BRIC is succeeding in achieving its’ goal by leaps and bounds. This year marks the opening of a grand total of 382 playgroup centers which help 7950 kids commence their lives correctly. BRIC is also currently running 23 playgroup centers in rural areas which enroll a total of 534 students per year.

Primary Schools

After the kids graduate from playgroups, they are promoted to primary schools, another remarkable initiative taken by BRIO Pakistan. These primary schools are set up in rural, remote areas where education is all but a scarcity. The schools enroll kids of brick kiln workers and of underprivileged villagers who by no means could get their kids educated otherwise.

BRIC not only facilitates the infrastructure of the schools but also provides quality education free of cost. These 6-10 year olds are taught by teachers who are also specially trained for this very purpose. After graduating from primary school these kids are pro-moted to secondary schools.
It began in 2003 with a mere 5 schools and 260 students. In coming years this number increased significantly. It reached 10 schools and 750 students by 2008. Today in 2017 BRIO has 30 primary schools with a fair sum of 1316 students enrolled in them.
